Nukem
Nukem is game that both my middle school and high school students really love.
The game is really simple to play especially if you have an area with a volleyball net.
How to play:
Divide the students into two teams and have each team on one side of the net facing each other. Grab a volleyball or some other ball that is easy to catch and won’t hurt anyone if it is thrown too hard.
You can pick which team gets the ball first any way you choose. Once the team is selected someone from that team throws the ball over the net and someone from the opposite team must catch the ball if it is near them. If they drop the ball then they get 1 strike counted against them. Once a person gets 3 strikes against them, then they are out. First team to have people left wins.
Rules:
No spiking
When a player catches the ball, he or she must stay stationary when throwing the ball back over the net.
Tips and fun stuff:
-Best to use teams of both guys and gals or if you have a couple of nets you can do a girls vs girls and guys vs guys.
-Teams can be any size, however, it’s better to have around 10 on a team.
-If you want to make it challenging use an extra volleyball.
