Actual Sign Found on a Building Where Youth Ministry Takes Place!
Here’s a sign that I found on a youth building used for youth ministry. Yes I said this is sign that was found on a place where students gather to have youth group.
I particularly like the bottom part of the sign that says, “You are welcome at our youth night on Wednesday at 7pm”. So does that mean that they can skate on youth group night?
I should have asked if this new type of outreach is working. Has anyone else seen something like this? Is this a new method found in dare2share conferences? (just kidding greg stier;)
This sign reminded me that we need to think about what kind of signs we are communicating in our youth ministries. This doesn’t necessarily mean a “sign”, but rather what is your meeting place and the leaders you have communicating to students that get invited?
It could be time to put some new signs up before you get rolling this fall!

I’ll tell you what I would think if I was a youth looking at that sign: The ONLY time I’m welcome at this place is Wednesday night at 7pm. The rest of the week, I should keep my distance!
And we wonder why youth are drifting away from the Church.
Woah, that’s ridiculous.
