Pratical Way to Remember Students Birthdays
There is a great FREE service that I have been using for a long time that helps you remember everyone’s birthday! It’s called Birthday Alarm.com
With Birthday Alarm you can either enter everyone’s birthday and contact info or you can email everyone so that they sign up and automatically get added to your birthday roster to remember.
I personally like Birthday Alarm because it’s free, it sends out a birthday reminder to my email address 1 week before someones birthday and then once more about 3 days before there birthday.
Here’s a screen shot of there website:
They also have other services available for you to purchase and the site isn’t a Christian Based site, but it does a great job of keeping up the reminders and your students will actually be amazed that you can remember their birthday!
What other ways do you remember your students birthdays or do you or can you? Is remembering a birthday important to do as a youth pastor or not?

Hell,o
I am starting my new position the first of August, and am looking for a good questionnaire, that will help collect informationing in learning more about the youth I will be serving. I cannot find anything on the web, do you know of anything that would be helpful?
Thanks!
Jason
That is a great site. I didn’t know there was anything out there like that. On our student website (which is a work in progress) we have embedded a Google Calendar on which I have placed the students’ birthdays. We also send out birthday cards to the students that have been signed by all the student ministry leaders. I compile a list of the birthdays over the course of a month and bring cards to our monthly leaders’ meetings. If you are concerned about expensive cards eating up your budget, design an inexpensive card (or have one of your students do it) that you print on cardstock. I would insert some samples my student Kyle designed for us, but I can’t with the comment setup.
