		<description>Yes, I do this all the time.  This is great non-gathered ministry!  I try and purchase boxed cards for all sort of occasions, thank you cards, encouragement, birthday, sympathy, graduation, etc and keep them all in one of my big desk drawers.  This allows me to grab a card right at hand as needed.  Birthday cards are great ideas to send out - esp. to volunteers, then you can include words of encouragment right in the letter!</description>
