The closest I've come is playing the game Persecution at a camp; it provided something akin to the experience, at least metaphorically, but I'm sure there was a lot that was "lost in translation," so to speak. What kind of a response did you get from the kids? It's hard to tell sometimes, but it is the greatest thing when you can move them into thinking from the perspective of the original saints or persecuted church today.
