Here is a youth ministry idea that you may want to try (it may just happen anyways) on your way to a summer camp with your students.
Try arranging a fake church van or bus breakdown about 1 mile from the camp or retreat you are headed to and have your students walk the rest of the way to camp. It often seems like students talk more about the van breakdown then they do the event or activity sometimes.
Once they get close to camp drive by with the van with a sign on the back or side of the van saying that they just got punked, then gather the group together to have lunch and talk about what it felt like to be punked.
Warning if you do something like this – it just may start several to punk you back so be ready to take it back if your gonna dish it. It will definitely give your students something to talk about and make them think about when they punk their friends.

Punked isn’t outdated, Im 18 And our Whole Group and My whole school says it alot.
As youth ministers we need to try not to use such outdated terms that make us sound as though we are TRYING to be cool. Just say it’s a prank. Be real.
That’s awesome. Think I will get one of the volunteers to head it up though so they are the ones getting punked back.
