Here’s a youth ministry idea that you can try with your students: Online Bible Trivia

If you have a website or facebook page or group (probably works best with the facebook page or group) you can place a bible trivia question of the day or week on there and the first student that can give you the correct answer along with a scripture reference wins. They could actually win a prize or you could accumulate entries for a prize at the end of the month or quarter.

Some good things:

• Keeps them coming back to the site
• Gets them into the word
• They may end up subscribing to your facebook updates via phone

Some not so good things:

• Maybe the same person is always winning so it discourages the others from trying
• If a student posts the wrong answer – everyone would see it and it may make them feel bad

There may need to be some moderating and some extra rules that you may want to implement with the bible trivia challenge so think through how you would do it. You can easily buy a bible trivia book or calendar from a Christian bookstore.
