Want something crazy to kick off the fall? Add Strobe Light Dodgeball to the mix of say a Lock In or game evening in your youth ministry.

Not much to explain here other then you may have to monitor the injuries and reinforce to the strong boys that they can’t whip a ball at 200 miles an hour while doing this.

As far as the rules go it’s the same as regular dodgeball but good luck trying to enforce those with a strobe light going. This game is more about the fun then the rules and so give it a shot for as long as you can with rules but allow for a time just throwing the ball at each other.

WARNING: use soft dodgeballs (unless you are trying to break noses) and and be aware that strobe lights can cause seisures in some people.

Also try cranking up some music while doing this and above all have fun but be safe. Make sure you have some of your volunteer staff down in the action just in case someone is getting a little too aggressive and if your vol. staff goes down – then I guess your losing your job….”just kidding but seriously” – from the movie dodgeball.
