I just got done taking a youth ministry survey and would like for you to take it as well. It only takes maybe 10min of your time and I will publish the future results.
The goal is to get 1000 youth pastors to take the survey and since I have about 1000 readers I thought maybe this could be possible.
You can take the survey by visiting: www.youthministrysurvey.com
It will be interesting to see how you answer some of the questions.
Also if you have some parents of some youth that wouldn’t mind taking …

Ken Sapp has a site that has some great: Youth Ideas – (click to check it out)
On his site there are several game ideas, illustration ideas, teaching ideas and more!
What I appreciate about Ken is not only the amount of ideas found for Youth Ministry, but his heart is about youth ministry as well! Matter of fact his tag line when sending me an email is: “With YOUth on my heart” and that’s really cool.

Students love to text. Some say they can do it in their sleep, and I believe it (if anybody has been able to catch this phenomenon on film, let me know). I wanted to let you know about a new resource for youth/college ministries. www.tuggle.it
Basically it’s a localized social network built on top of a ministry management platform. We have 400+ users in our student ministry at my church who login daily to communicate with others as well …

I was thinking about youth ministry websites and was wondering how many youth pastors use them and what they primarily use them for.
I think that most would say that they use them for sharing information and pictures.
What I want to know, however, is are they being used for other things such as:
Interaction
Information Collecting
Evangelism
Downloading
Getting to know your students
There is a some services such as Youth Glue, which I wrote about HERE, that offer some great stuff like that.
So now it’s your turn. What do you use and why? What purpose/s is …
